New Look

Hello friends:  At the urging of those who ought to know, (haha) I have had some new pics taken and will soon let you all see ‘the new me’ post transformation.

In the meantime, work is going forward on “Through Kestrel’s Eyes.” I was thrilled recently when a friend read my first draft and cried at a pivotal point. It is not my habit to enjoy making people cry but in this case I cheered. This is one scene that will undergo little change. When I read that same scene aloud after having been away from it for a while, both my listener and I had tears. It is one of those small victories that keeps me going and believing in myself.

What keeps you inspired, either to keep reading or to keep writing?  I would love to hear from you.

  1. Hi Yvonne,

In our community, this weekend, writers are getting together for the Muskoka-wide “Great Novel Marathon”: 3 days dedicated to completing their books and raising money for the Literacy society. You might want to start one in your community. You can see http://www.muskokanovelmarathon.com/ for more information.

I’m going to be using the time to work on my next book on the Spiritual Roots of Disease. Maybe we’ll both complete our second books at the same time!

    Much love,

    Susan
