Thank you. I rarely put my IU posts here but have been thinking I need to do more of that. 🙂
I have recently rediscovered IU – and found that the last two posts I enjoyed – this and the one where you’re giving up promotions – were yours.
You have expressed the frustrations I feel about both subjects – as a disabled writer, good time (time in which my brain is on and actually working well enough to write) is limited to a couple of hours a day at best, and I really hate using it for stuff with no return on investment (promoting) – and yet there are so many things you’re ‘supposed’ to do.
The other, reading, is a hugely lost pleasure – and I dare not recover it. Every time I do, all my good time goes to the good reading (Travis McGee got the last couple of weeks), and I stay up too late (no energy left for the decision to go to bed!).
Sigh.
And yet, I love to write, love the mainstream love story trilogy I’ve published only the first volume of, and just wish the energy was enough for other things.
