How do we do it?

It really is time to get my nose back to the grindstone. I have been delaying (procrastinating) because I have been spending an inordinate amount of time learning about and setting up some social media (fan page on Facebook, linkdin. etc.) and networking with new contacts and other writers. I even found an editor (hi Wendy). But my real business, my job, so to speak, is writing, something I have been doing precious little of. So I would love to know how we find that balance that allows us to do both without tearing out our hair. Any thoughts on that?

  1. Hi Yvonne

Appologies for not returning the visit earlier, I’ve been doing more or less the same as you and trying to do my ‘real’ job as well! All this technological social networking, how do we find time to sleep! I’m sure I started my new novel but where did I get to… and where did I save it!

  2. I admire your facility for managing both a ‘day job’ and finding time to write and keep up with social media. At least, now that I am retired, I consider writing my ‘day job’. I hope the social media end gets easier so it takes less time. After a certain age the learning curve slows down a tad.
